Texture and Type is the second project I completed for a design class in my Spring semester. The objective of this activity was to begin with a group of shapes and begin to manipulate and order these boxes on the grid. Eventually the final project led to a poster that included a handful of textures I found around my home which were strategically placed within these boxes. I greatly enjoyed laying out this project as the grid challenged me to come up with unique ways of ordering and arranging my textures into these boxes. I would definitely explore this task further.
These are some of the photos that were used throughout the grid before they were added to the final project.
These are some of the process works before any images or text was added
These final images are some of the texture and type explorations I used at the middle stages of this project.
